If you have some deep dark thoughts, about an album... Share it with everyone, and post it in here.

Album I like;

"The Cleansing" by Suicide Silence (10.0/10.0)

Most songs on the cd you can't tell apart upon the first time listening to it but after a few times of listening to it songs begin to stand out. I enjoy cds that make you want to go nuts and try to scream or growl or sing along with them... which is exactly what it did. When bands bring out cds like this, you know you've got a new favourite band. Listen to "Price of Beauty", "Unanswered", "Hands of a Killer", "Bludgeoned to Death" and "Destruction of a Statue" (which does not appear on the back of the album, its a bonus track). I recommend this to fans of; Job For A Cowboy (early work), Annotations of an Autopsy and Carnifex.

Album I didn't like;

"Inhuman Rampage" by Dragonforce (3.0/10.0)

I'm a fan of Dragonforce and just like a good fan I bought the cd "Inhuman Rampage", but i wish i hadn't. I was hoping for something different than the previous album "Sonic Firestorm" but there was no differences except maybe song titles. Riffs were very fast (isn't that a surprise) and solo's sounds the same on every track and so was the song structure. Open with guitars, sing, solos for 3 or 4 minutes, back to singing, end song. this happened over and over again so eventually i just stopped after i got half way through "Cry for Eternity". Even though i think the album was a waste of money... there was a few stand out tracks. "Through The Fire And The Flames" (guitar hero's "hardest" track) and "Revolution Deathsquad". I will only recommend this to really hardcore Dragonforce fans.

Power Metal Album;

"Acsendancy" by Trivium (7.5/10.0)

I bought this album because by friend recommended it to me. I was pleased to find awesome riffs and harsh vocals which Matt seems to do overly well, but what got me as well was the fact he could sing too. i really liked this album so I'm going to be straight about why i only gave it 7.5. i find that albums now a days are starting to fade near the end of the albums. And this cd certainly followed this trend. I really enjoyed the first 6 or 7 songs and then i just started to lose interest. I found this cd better than the cd "The Crusade" by these guys but thats no saying too much. i highly recommend the tracks "Pull Harder On the Strings Of Your Martyr", "A Gunshot To The Head of Trepidation" and "Like Light to The Flies". I Recommend this to fans of; Bullet for my Valentine and Avenged Sevenfold.
