Hey, is anybody else totally in love with classical music? We are playing Abduction at the Seraglio by Mozart in our school wind ensemble, and it's such a sweet peice! I get to play the oboe part on my flute. Score!

I do enjoy some classical music. In fact, I think Beethoven's ninth symphony is the greatest peice of music ever written. The 4th movement gives me chills everytime I hear it without fail. I also like Edvard Griegs Pyr Gynt (sp?). I used to listen to some opera now and then and I enjoy La Traviata and The Barber of Seville.
Every once in a while I will throw on a classical radio station for relaxation purposes and I won't even care who the composer is or the title. The sole purpose in that case to ease the nerves.

I cannot call myself knowledgable in the Classical music area... but I too have a series of Classical compositions... and I enjoy them very much...
Not many people realize the complexity... and down right progressive nature of the classical realm...

Oh, I know it is complex! And Beethoven is one of my favourites too, along with Liszt. Hey, have you guys ever seen Phantom of the Opera? It's so genious, it has to be the best movie out there. I love musicals!

Nope, have not seen Phantom yet. Actually, I hardly watch any movies at all. I stick with listening to music, mostly.

Aw really? I like tear jerker movies, they're so good. But I know what you mean, movies are so expensive and it never feels like you're getting your money's worth!
