And that is one of the cool things about the Internet and message boards. We all have different tastes and different favorite bands so we can share the knowledge. That's how I came across Opeth, Nevermore, Pagan's Mind, Dreamscape, Silent Force, Seven Witches. If it wasn't for some guy I don't know on the other side of the planet talking incessantly about these unknown bands I never would have been so blessed to hear their music. My life is better for having heard so much great music.
Excuse me while make the long climb down off my soapbox. This could take a while.

Haven't heard of Winds, yet. I'll look them up.
Infatuator and Tunnelvisions second album Tomorrow are fantastic. I think I will have to break them out again soon. \m/

There's also Empty Tremor and Time Requiem. Peter Wildoer from Darkane does drums for Time Requiem's s/t debut. He has to be one of the best drummers I've ever listened to. Empty Tremor's sound is similar to the darker and heavier stuff from Dream Theater. Kind of like the song Pull Me Under or the Awake album.

| Well here goes a few more. You cant forget about Fates Warning, check out A Pleasant Shade of Grey or the new one X. There stuff is great, but the early stuff had a different singer. Another band is Redemption, there new album The Fullness of Time is really good and has Ray Alder of Fates singing on it. I highly recommend that one. Vanden Plas is a good band also. And finally have you heard the new James LaBrie album Elements of Persuasion? Check that one out for sure. Hope this helps expand the progressive knowledge. And if you want a sample of any of these hit me on AOL IM at Var473. Devin Christianson
