Here is an interesting instrumental band from Philadelphia...
I have their 'No Interference' album and I really like it...
It's not reallyl heavy... but a nice level of prog/tech/jazzy funk stuff..
I really like it... There are some audio samples on their website..

Took me a while to get around to checking out this band. I dig instrumentals but I have a hard time listening to music without vocals for extended periods of time.
Now playing is And Just Go from the site. Interesting. The sound of the drums is not quite to my liking, but the playing is. Good guitars, nothing fancy. I like this stuff.

I have both albums now "pretest " & "no interference " haven't had too much time to check them out . .. but i hope to soon . SO MUCH music ...so little time !!!!!!!!!!!

| Bare, I thought you might like to see this quote I got from Mike Portnoy's message board. "I'm not much for Spiral Architect, but Watchtower are fucking masters and innovators. The same goes for Spastic Ink.
If you're looking for a modern band which does something comparable, try Dysrhythmia."

Brain Intact" track on Dysrhthmia's "no interference" album is awesome... It is not super technical or far out prog... but the songs that they pull together, intrigue me. I have to be in the right mood... but that mood happens frequently
