I'm bored at work today so I thought I would make lists. Didn't matter what the subject was, just started making lists. One of those lists is songs that are so good that I just don't want them to end. Here are a few I have so far.....- Eyes of a Stranger - Queensryche
- When the Water Breaks - Liquid Tension Experiment
- Octavarium - Dream Theater. Even though this song is already 24 minutes long, I could still enjoy another 10-12 minutes of it.
- Deliverance - Opeth
- Hallowed be thy Name - Maiden
- Carouselambra - Led Zeppelin. Everytime I hear this song end, I think, "that's it??"
- Diary of a Madman - Ozzy
Of course, there are other non-metal songs I could add to that list. But I'll save that for another thread.

I was trying to think of a Savatage song that fits in this thread, and the one that jumps out at me is Ghost in the Ruin. Or Hounds. I love the solo's in both those songs and I wish they had been extended a little longer.
