I bought my first Overkill CD (Under the Influence) on Friday from Amazon. I should get it tomorrow. I think I'm gonna get Horrorscope next.

Great album, Horrorscope is good too. I would suggest Feel the Fire, Taking Over and of course Years of Decay next. The rest of their albums are very different but are worth a listen. I really enjoyed Necroshine through RelIX.

Don't forget that DVD, as it's a thrashtastic release. The audience in it seems a bit lacking (wrong kind of a venue I suppose, as there's a quite a distance between them and the band) though, but everything else is pure entertainment.

One of my all time favourite Thrash band's. They have some poor album's, but the good outweigh the bad. First 5 albums and the Killbox 13 are my favourite studio albums. Live album Wrecking Everything is a fucking killer album and should be checked out.

For my money the Overkill albums that are must haves are: the first 2, Feel The Fire and Taking Over. Another must have is Horrorscope. This album is pure thrash energy at it's highest level. Great band, awesome live set and the greatest logo/mascot ever!! Overkill slays!! "Get on your knees and suck it!"

I agree.  FtF, TO and Horrorscope is where it is at.  TYoD and UtI are good.  I've always had a soft spot for FtUaB.  The new one, ReliXIV is pretty good too.

I really think these guys have gotten over looked.  Everyone mentions the big four of thrash, but Overkill is easily the 5th (tied with Testament IMO).

HELL YEAH! I saw Overkill play last October at the Pearl room! They played a great set and I caught one of D.D.'s picks. Overkill is another essential for any thrash fan. I swear Blitz is gonna keep making music until he dies on stage.

Live for metal,Thrash till death!
