| I like most NSBM bands that I've heard, but I hate how it's almost considered a sub-genre. A change in lyrical standpoints does not warrant a name change. It's still Black Metal.

Except for bands like Absurd or something, the lyrics are usually the same as any other black metal band with pagan lyrics. It's just the ideology of the band members that make them called NSBM. Most NSBM bands suck as musicians though. I can only think of a few of them that actually have decent musicianship. It's just the sound and atmosphere that is so great.

I disagree with that statement. I think that most NSBM bands are just as musically talented as other BM bands. After all, it requires good musicianship to create such an atmosphere.

| I love Darkthrone and they create such an atmosphere, but even though the guys in the band are actually good musicians, Darkthrone's music is not really requiring all that much talent to play. I know they are not NSBM despite that whole "Norsk Arisk BM" and that "Transylvanian Hunger is beyond critism and whoever does should be Patronized for their obviously Jwish behavior", Fenriz Nocturno are not racists. But Varg Vikernez, Rob Darken, the guys in Absurd, Nokturnal Mortem, Legion Of Doom etc may create atmospheric music that is really good, but they are terrible musicians. Some of it makes old Venom and Celtic Frost sound skilled.
