And what makes it a different form of black metal then the rest? I ask because I know next nothing about black metal. Thanks.

Nationalist Socialist Black Metal. The band members are racist but the music itself usually isn't. The music is usually simple but kinda folky and atmospheric. Burzum, Graveland, Absurd, Nokturnal Mortem, Grand Belial's Key, Winter Funeral, Thor's Hammer and stuff like that. I like the music but the ideals are fucking stupid. So you see what I mean. Darken happens to be one of the louder ones but most of them are like that. If you've ever seen pics of this guy you will fall down laughing. I like Graveland and all the other side projects but I seriousely hate that guy.

A good source for info on NSBM is www.NSBM.org. Aside from the bands named above I enjoy Lord Wind quite abit.

i am big fan of NSBM. But what i do not understand is the whole nazi-ish part when the have socialism in there name. i just elarned this today in social actually here we go.
socialiasm and nazi-ism(or fascism) are on opposite sides of the political spectrum.
I laugh at people who are Neo-Nazi Communist. it just isn't possible. but in general NSBM kicks uber ass. nice name, the crying orc. an amazing song
