I still don't have a definite answer on the ages of the show. I didn't book this one, we were invited to play and I accepted and I made sure to let the other bands know that we feel very strongly about them making it all ages, as we always try to do. I will say one thing, if this one ends up not being all ages, we'll book another show somewhere in Pittsburgh soon that will be all ages.

Let us know all info as soon as possible.  May want to fly out from Phoenix to catch the show.  Will definitely let friends in Y-town, OH know of your show.  One friend already is on your list of fans.  They go everywhere for shows.  I am sure they will catch you guys in Pitt.

Just so everyone knows, the Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh show is 21 & older. I wish this wasn't the case, but apparently that is the venues policy and though we argued & petitioned to change it for this night, ultimately, we're just guests on the show and didn't set it up.

However, as we much prefer to play all ages events, rest assured we will soon be announcing an all ages Pittsburgh area show to make up for the age discrimination this state feels it must employ. Then again, I think New Jersey is too. Sucks.

OK guys, let's get proactive here, why haven't you got fake IDs yet?

Almost forgot about this show.  Couple more days.  Hope someone brings a camera and can post pics of this one.

EDIT AGAIN: Yeah, that probably wasn't a good idea.

EDIT: Is it OK for me to say that?

What a country we live in where you need to lie about your age to enjoy music. It's not like we're profane or violent.

Perhaps that's part of the reason Europe has a better metal scene, they don't treat alchohol like it's some some sort of taboo that children will be corrupted by if they're around.

This town (and apparently some others in the east coast) needs a good all ages concert room. That is painfully clear.

Kids around drink alchohol all the time. And they haven't been letting up on the pot either.

When one thinks about it, MADD has it all wrong. I personally think that they should switch the tobacco/alchohol legal ages because it's been proven that tobacco in all forms is bad for one's health; but alchohol, if not abused, isn't necessarily harmful.

EDIT: They need more places that don't sell booze around here... the only place kids in the North Hills can go to for local shows are churches or Mr. Smalls. Other than that, we're out of luck. NA is especially rough because metal is almost nonexistent unless one counts nu-metal, metal is antagonized, and the preps choose to pick on the poor, defenseless metalhead sitting in the corner, throwing tater tots at her and stomping on her feet and calling her... never mind.

EDIT AGAIN: Shows = social activity. Precious time to belong somewhere.
