| So, I listened to my first Finntroll album last night. I didn't get a chance to listen to it closely, as I was working while it was playing... but at first listen I'm thinking it is pretty damned cool... Very unique with lots of different vibes & atmospheres.. Those of you with more knowledge and experience in regard to Finntroll... I'd sure appreciate it, if you could comment on this band (good or bad). Thanks!!

I love Finntroll. Jaktens Tid and Nattfodd are my favorites from them. Also check out Moonsorrow, Wintersun, Einsiferum and Korpiklaani for great Finnish folk metal.

Yeah. I saw it either Sunday or yesterday, but it sill sucks. I think it was a problem that he wasn't totally committed and there were also some personal problems so they fired him. I don't know the whole story though.

| ahh it's a pity that he is gone, but hopefully it will see the Evilution of the band even further, I did perfer the First Vocalist towards Tapio though, In saying that he was a good singer all the same. Happy Viking Metal.

Finntroll and Korpiklaani should be called Oktoberfest metal. Whenever I listen to them, I cannot help but drink loads of beer out of a stein (I don't have a stein so I just use one of those huge insulated mugs that you get coffee from a gas station or Dunkin Donuts).
