| Anybody heard of either Summon or The Classic Struggle? Just heard a song by Summon for the first time today and found out that they have been aroiund for a long time. 'scuse me while I lift this rock off my head. The Classic Struggle are from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (my usual vacation spot) and have toured with Shadows Fall. Not bad at all. Liked both bands. Also heard a song by Nile, another band that has been around for a few years.

Summon is a pretty good black/thrash band. Check out Melechesh if you haven't yet, they play technical black/thrash with middle eastern/Sumerian/Mesopotamian music and lyrics. They used to have the drummer from Absu. Mithras is a great Morbid Angelish band. They have some unbelievable guitar solos and this wierd spacy atmosphere.
- What you used to love now, you're gonna adore. With Charmin Ultra, less is more. Cha Cha Cha, Charmin.

nile is sick thoughYep. I like the Egyptian elements, that is what sets Nile apart from all the other death metal bands.

| Nile is one of my favorite death metal bands, even without the Egyptian elements I really enjoy their songwriting. I've heard only one Summon song, and it didn't make much of an impression on me. As for the Classic Struggle, the songs I heard weren't too bad, but I didn't really think they were death metal. Don't know the other bands that were mentioned.
