Today, my beloved USB port physically broke: I lost all the files, the majority of them documents for school. Thankfully, most were old files that I don't need anymore. The ones I need can be quickly re-written since I have hard copies of them.

Lessons learned:
1. Don't hesitate to get a new case for your USB port when the old one breaks.
2. Never hesitate to get a new USB port.
3. Make backups of EVERY SINGLE FILE. Period.
4. If you don't have an electronic copy, at least print a hard copy.

Now down to the grunt work of re-typing an English paper (thankfully only two pages)...

It's not the greatest idea to look for a jar while you're driving. The wind messes up your hair too much.

I feel your pain. Had a flash drive die on me a few months ago. Not fun.
