Bah, wish I could have seen Testament. I was 400 miles away when they came through my town.
I only went to a few. Heaven and Hell with Megadeth and Machinehead, Vader with Malevolent Creation, and Overkill with Prong. I think that's it. Heaven and Hell wins easily. What a killer show that was.
As long as I got Rock n Roll I'm forever young

| I have two: Heaven and Hell / Megadeth - Uh, it's Dio back in Black Sabbath. Since Dio-Sabbath is my favorite, it was a no brainer this would make my day. But Megadeth was a total suprise. They shredded beyond my wildest dreams. Dave & Co. ALMOST upstaged Black Sabbath. Heaven and Hell / Alice Cooper / Queensryche - Okay, the second Black Sabbath show. Outdoors and a bit shorter setlist, but the song Heaven and Hell was a 21 minute jam. Amazing!!! Alice Cooper is always fantastic and Queensryche actually played a lot of good stuf from Empire and The Warning.

Not the best concert, but the best live performance - Colosseum(funeral doom metal, FIN) on Darkside Revolution here in Latvia.

ProgPower!! A festival, but still the greatest performances I saw all year. If I had to choose a favorite band from that festival...well, I couldn't. They were all absolutley amazing. Communic brought a tear to my eye, as did Primal Fear and Sonata Artica. It was an incredible experience.

| I don't remember the full line-ups from the shows I went to and which bands played with which other bands when I saw them, but I would say that probably my favorite individual performance I witnessed in '07 was DÅÅTH.

Wow, so many great shows happened in 2007. Chicago Powerfest, Dream Theater/Into Eternity/Redemption, ProgPower, Dark Funeral/Naglfar, Katatonia, Nile, Witchcraft, Manslaughter, Goatwhore, Slough Feg, Summer Slaughter Tour...the list goes on. I went to way too many shows in '07 (says my bank account), but I also went to a lot of great shows, which, I think, makes up for it.
It's hard to pick the "best" one of 2007, but performances that really ruled: Into Eternity, Atheist, Manslaughter, Slough Feg, Witchcraft. All in all, 2007 was a great metal year for me. On many levels. Hopefully 2008 will be as cool
Okay, is there a WORST show of 2007 topic? I need to find it...
