Shouldn't "older stuff" just be the Kevin Moore era?

| Awake is my favorite album by them. But I really enjoy Train of Thought and Systematic Chaos.

Although some of the newer stuff I really do like, Awake is my favorite album overall. Of the newer stuff (6 Degrees through Systematic Chaos) some songs are really big hits with me while others are really big misses.
Hits: Octavarium (the song), Forsaken, Honor Thy Father, Misunderstood, Blind Faith, In the Presence of Enemies.
Misses: Constant Motion, In the Name of God, parts of 6 Degrees of Inner Turbulence (the song), Disappear, Prophets of War.
As long as I got Rock n Roll I'm forever young

The Iron Maiden (12/8/2007) Not necessarily..."older stuff" could also apply to Derek Sherinian. I guess it depends on how you look at it. I'd say Derek was the middle-era. Since the band changed their sound a lot from Moore, to Sherinian to Rudess.

This is true. Maybe I should have broken it down into three categories...oh well. Basically, I like everything they did up to and including 6 Degrees, though it was definitely a departure in style for them. I even dig Falling Into Infinity, as different as it was from previous albums, but I can't really get into the past few albums they've released.
