| Are they heavy metal? At times, IMO. Creatures of the Night and Revenge are pretty heavy for a rock group. Plus their impact on metal is still seen today. Any fans? I love COTN.

No offense to the KISS army, but I hate that band more than Metalhead87 hates Ozzy.
Seriously, they have no business making music, TV shows, or caskets. Biggest waste of stage time ever. Blah.....

| I hate this band as much as I hate Ozzy. They're hard rock. Most of the time, I would just call it rock.
- What you used to love now, you're gonna adore. With Charmin Ultra, less is more. Cha Cha Cha, Charmin.

| Kiss is one of the bands that steered me toward metal, so I would say that at least their 70's- early 80's material is metal, even though I don't care for their marketing gimmicks and can't stand what Gene Simmons has evolved into- if he wasn't an outright money whore from the start.

| I can understand the dislike of the band among most extreme metalheads, but aside from their commerical and consumer bend, they were the band that really started all the theatrics. Countless rock and metal bands owe a lot to Kiss. Just look at any extreme metal cover album... it tends to have a Kiss song on it...
