In keeping with the theme for the album, I've incorporated many images into the artwork that one might associate with being lost (or found). Such as a compass, map, light house, star chart, zodiac, etc. It can pertain to being physically lost, spiritually lost or simply hopelessly in the woods with no hope or desire for being found. Things like GPS tracking or flare guns are super, but may be a bit out of character for the style. I'm trying to think of how early navigators may have charted a course for adventures across an unknown sea to avoid falling off the edge of the world.
Not having seen the reality show "Lost" I don't know what they're about but I like the old "Land Of The Lost" complete with Sleestaks & such. (nevermind, weird tangent).
Working on music, art, promotion, etc. non stop for months has nearly exhausted me, so I thought I'd turn to you all for some ideas on imagery. Who knows, although the CD art is done, it may work it's way into the website or promotional campaign to ensue.
Thanks for being here. Hey that just reminded me of those big charts at the mall or at rest stops on the highway "YOU ARE HERE"
::sigh:: what day is it?

A middle-aged woman yelling out "ask for directions!"?
- What you used to love now, you're gonna adore. With Charmin Ultra, less is more. Cha Cha Cha, Charmin.

When we were about eleven years old, one of my friends taught me how to use the cap of an acorn as a whistle. She said that if someone gets lost in the forest, the acoorn cap would make a loud, high-pitched squeal that others could hear anduse to find the lost one. To this day, I can't find an acorn on the ground without picking the cap off and making that squeal.
I associate being spritually lost with being lost in a sea of proselytization and threats that all who don't follow a certain group will get punished in the hereafter. It reminds me of Ayaan Hirsi Ali's story in Infidel. She fears hell while finding that western ideals suit her needs better than those of Islam.
On a jokier note, I recommend my dad's GPS system that tends tolose satellite connectionswhenever we reach an area that's too hilly, such as most of Pittsburgh.
