| Hails! As a fan of Misanthopic Black Metal myself I really Dig Xasthur..the music is fully dark and raw and just brings you to utter dispair...I recently heard Australia's answer to Xasthur called Striborg...Very Impressive might I add....Striborg tend to have the same effect as Xasthur while Xasthurs tempo is usally a slow droning pace Striborg tends to pick it up with more blasts and fills it in more with sawing guitar works...I cannot decide myself who is better both are killer. Vokills are just amazing from both bands. maybe you can answer this question of who is better. Hails/Cheers

| Xasthur by far. I've only heard a couple of Striborg songs that really sound authentically misanthropic. I found the rest of his music to be rather silly.

| Hail! Yes there were a few Striborg songs i didn't like as much, but still to even come close to Xasthur is a feat in itself. To me that is very High praise. I haven't gotten the latest Striborg/Xasthur split yet. I think its only being relesed in like several hundred copies. Sin is still killer though. Hail Etenal Darkness
