Not sure what's coming to your area, but there's a really really great tour called "The Summer Slaughter" going around. Bands are: Cephalic Carnage (the new album is excellent!), Necrophagist, Decapitated, Cattle Decapitation, Arsis, and Ion Dissonance.

Cephalic Carnage has a new album?  Oh, the goodness...

Amon Amarth is on the Sounds of the Underground tour that's sponsored by Hot Topic...which boggles my mind.  Hot Topic presents "Sounds of the Underground"??  Whatever, the rest of the bands on the bill suck so it doesn't really matter.  I'm not paying to see it.  The only other decent band I can recall is Job for A Cowboy.

Oh, and Tesla is doing another "Evening With" tour.  I don't care what anyone says because this show will be awesome!  (Ahem...Jeremy)

Hot Topic presents Sounds of the Underground and Corporate America presents Ozzfest are happening this summer.  One is supposedly free, one isn't.  I'd avoid both if you want to see more than bands play for 20 minutes.

Vital Remains and WASP are touring this summer.

That's all I know...  I plan on skipping everything this summer.  Nothing is worth the time of $.
