hmm, it's quite interesting do you, doclindgren, understand russian language?? because you were talking about ns folk/pagan metal bands and their ideology, so i suppose you understand lyrics, or maybe i mistake..

I actually know someone who's into a lot of folk metal.  I don't know much about the Russian language though.  The only English-singing NS band that comes to mind right now is Finist.  It features members of Nokturnal Mortum, if you know who they are.

i know that i've heard Chur, but i don't remember how they sounded..
not Russian folk, but Holy Blood is great band from Ukraine, which mix folk and black metal with some symphonic elements

Any bands from the former Soviet areas count here...and since that's the case, Lithuania's Obtest is a band worth checking out.

oh, if any band from Soviet counts, in then two good bands from Belarus(Latvia's southeastern neighbours):
Gods Tower (pagan metal)
Vicious Crusade (folk/pagan metal with awesome and sexy female vocal)
