I just got back from Chicago Powerfest tonight and let me tell you, it was incredible. From hanging out with members of Atheist, Saturnus, Thurisaz, Novembers Doom and Benedictum on Friday to puking my guts out all day Saturday and then still getting to see my favorite Atheist song live that night, not to mention getting an Atheist shirt signed by Kelly Shaefer, this was one hell of a weekend. Full report to come soon...when I settle down. And voodoo, Suspyre was awesome!

Great to hear you had a good weekend. I'm green with envy.
And REALLY to hear you liked Suspyre. Major jealousy!

| Already saw your report on the Nevermore board. Quit making me jealous that I missed Atheist! Suspyre plays NY a lot. Haven't seen them though, and I'm not all that familiar with their music

Not sure, but it's possible. We talked to the drummer after the show on Friday and he said that was his last show with Suspyre; he was going to be joining a band called Mutiny who's "really blowing up," according to him. He was hot, but he sure was a cocky bastard. We also ran into the vocalist at the afterparty...he was completely wasted and talking to everybody. It was pretty funny.
