Metalhead87 (12/27/2006) I also have not heard the latest Into Eternity. I heard a couple of songs and they sound awesome. Their new vocalist has an amazing range as well. When I first listened to The Scattering of Ashes, honestly, I wasn't that impressed. I've been listening to it a lot lately and it has really grown on me. I'm going to see these guys on Monday night for the 4th time. Their live performances are amazing, and Destruction is headlining, so I'm quite excited. IE is supposed to do a 45 minute set. They usually get 20-30 minutes, so this is fantastic news!! Stu's vocals are right on every time, and Tim's backup vocals aren't lacking either. This is a very unqiue band; they've found the perfect lineup to highlight all of their talent. I'm gonna miss Rob though...

| Ha - how nice I found this thread again. Mercenary just finished their first European Headliner Tour and I visited three gigs - And it was a blast!!!!!!! They are such a great live band - great stageacting and extremly down to earth! I had a terribly nice interview with frontman Mikkel about the tour, some months ago one about the CD with keyboardist Morten. I hope they will have their breakthrough now - after so many years, the guys really deserve it

| I just got my hands on a couple of their CD's and I really like them. They do deserve some more recognition. In fact, I think I will pop on The Hours that Remain right now!
As long as I got Rock n Roll I'm forever young

| If you prefer their earlier works you SHOULD listen to the FIRST BREATH. No keyboard - no highpitched vocals - more the Death-Thrash-Way
