Well, we all knew it would happen...the Anthrax reunion w/ Joey Belladonna is over.

No new album...like alot of us hoped for..what we got is alot of internet airing of the dirty laundry and alot of non answers and vague answers...Scott N Charlie...have taken a once classic Metal band and respectable at one time ..and seem to be determined to run it into the ground...

From all I read ..it seems to be..either you agree with them..or you are no longer part of the band...

here's a list  of their Series of Unfortunate events:

1.Dan Lilker..fired

2. Neil Turbin..fired

3. Joey Belladonna..fired

4. Dan Spitz..quit

5. Paul Crook..never made a full time member..gone

6. Billy Milano and SOD...didnt want to continue w/Billy or SOD anymore.

7. John Bush..replaced for Joey Belladonna reunion as well as guitar player Rob C.

8. Joey Belladonna ..quit/fired.. Scott n Charlie didn't and couldn't commit to Belladonna 100% and he was tired of being a hired gun and taking any touring opportunity offered to Anthrax, and wanted concrete plans and new album guarantee...they couldn't do that.

9. I'm sure Dan Spitz is gone too..

10..???? who knows what is next.??

Is this out of hand or what??? any thoughts?? sad times for a band I grew up with here in NYC

It's kinda like Van Halen and their revolving door of singers.  Personally, when shit like this starts to happen I lose a LOT of interest in the band.  Make a freaking decision and stick with it, then maybe I will pick up a CD again.

I agree,,, they are quickly becoming a joke of sorts.. if they would have said from the beginning that the "reunion" was only for ONE tour- to kick out the old classics one more time etc.., than the  band w/ John Bush would get back together again... THAT would have been acceptable...

OR

That now since Joey Belladonna has re-joined..the magic is back and they will move forward and make a new kick ass album together...

BUT

Neither was said to the fans...they kept secretive and hoped for the best...and got the worst... They should have made a decision from day one or at least in the first month or so..they didn't..and fans got to wishful thinking as did the band too...

It seems like Charlie n Scott..."don't play well with others" and that's very sad...to say the least

After Fistful Of Metal, I couldn't really care less about them.
If Neil Turbin is the next Anthrax vocalist (I know that would never happen), then I'll pay attention.

What you used to love now, you're gonna adore. With Charmin Ultra, less is more. Cha Cha Cha, Charmin.

Neil Turbin's  band "Deathriders"  and the new album they are working on sounds killer!  I can't wait to hear the rest of it, the 4 songs I heard so far are real Heavy, with lots of guitars and doublebass drumming too...not to mention excellent vocals from Neil Turbin..

Anthrax is boring now.  It is unfortunate that they didn't use John Bush as wells as they could have.  I doubt he'll come back to the fold.  I wouldn't be suprised if Anthrax folds and both Scott and Charlie do something new.
