| I listened to Kataklym's new album "In The Arms Of Devastation" this morning. It was a quick listen, but sounds pretty good. I'll have to listen in more detail the next time. Anyone else heard this album yet?

I didn't even know it was released yet. I can't wait to get it though. I love all their albums. They mix melodic and brutal death metal together perfectly.

| Personally I would have preferred a slightly heavier overall sound on "In the Arms of Devastation," but the songwriting is great and I think it is the sort of album that will grow on me with each listen. Serenity in Fire and Shadows and Dust are both very good, I also have almost all their old stuff but I haven't listened to it too much yet.

Kataklysm's great. I've got a nice big Metal Maniacs poster of them in all their shouting glory in my room.

| I predicted wrong about the new Kataklysm growing on me. I actually think it's awful. I wrote a very scathing review of it on amazon.com, I guess luckily for the band it was already reviewed positively on this website.
