so i recently heard all of his old cds. their amazing! this is sum awesme stuff! i felt bad wen i learned that jason can no longer physically move due to ALS. he is an amazing guitarist.

| According to Wikipedia that is correct. I've never heard of them, but he apparently played in speed metal band called Cacophony with Marty Freidman. They released an album called Speed Metal Symphony. The album name intrigued me so I found them on myspace; holy shit! Thanks, Adam! Now I understand the myspace comment.

That's right, Cacophony. I hear some tunes by that band a few times on Pandora.com. Kinda Yngwie-like, but better.

Yeah. I love Cacophany. The reason why they were better than Yngwie was because they actually knew how to write songs. Although Yngwie's vocalists were all better than the guy from Cacophony.
It's actually how Marty joined Megadeth. Jeff Loomis went to audition for Megadeth but Dave said that he cannot join because he is too young. When he went to see Cacophony, he told Marty that Megadeth is looking for a guitar player, and the rest is history.
Jason pretty much cannot even move anymore from what I've heard. He was an amazing guitar player.

| yep. www.jasonbecker.com for more info. i heard their making a movie based on his life. he communicates with his eyes. dont ask me how, im guesing morse code or sumthing. but hes writting an autobiography i think. or sumone is writing it for him.
