Are they black metal? Death? Whatever. I'm familiar with some of their stuff, and I'm seeing them for free on Monday. What are your opinions on the band?I would concider Celtic Frost early black metal on pre Into the Pandimonium material. Anyway, Celtic Frost are one of the best bands of all time and highly influential.

I love To Mega Therion. I actually listened to it today as well, along with Into The Pandemonium. I listened to Morbid Tales and Monotheist a couple of days ago.

| BORING??!!! WTF!! Celtic Frost was death/black/thrash whatever you wanna call them before you even know how to spell metal!!! One of the true pioneers of metal! Unless your talking about the Cold Lake years, then and only then will I agree with you. I don't know what happened there but I wanted to gouge out my own eyes when I heard that crap. Before Celtic Frost there was Hellhammer who were more evil, raw and violent then any newer death/black metal band will ever be. You have to remember that they did it back in 1982 before bands like Vital Remains were even a gleam in daddy's eye. Pioneers were they and they should be given the respect they deserve. I have seen them 3 times now, twice in the late 80's and once on their most recent tour and I will scream out loud that they are one of the heaviest bands on the planet!!!! Frost Rules!!!!!!!!!!
