I just recently heard this band and they have kind of a new progressive kind of sound but also heavy in a way but different...check them out herehttp://www.thehumanabstract.com/ ....and post what you think about them.

I've heard a few things here and there from this band. Sounds too much vocally like Avenged Sevenfold.

I keep hearing about these guys from the Mike Portnoy forum; apparently there are a lot of fans there. I heard them for the first time yesterday, and I was pretty impressed. Sounded pretty technical. I'll be checking them out more and I'll let you guys know what I think.I remember reading about them on the Portnoy forum as well, though I haven't gotten to listen to them yet. ** add another band to the list........

Yeah vocally its different than most progressive bands...but the music i think is kick ass and is technical judging from what ive heard on there myspace page but hopefully i can get the album to hear what else they have to offer...

| Hmm, i'm not a fan of the vocal's at all, but the music is awesome. Nocturne was pretty decent for a debut album.
