This is in regards to Chris Barnes (ex- Cannibal Corpse, Six Feet Under, Torture Killer) and George "Corpsegrinder" Fischer. Who is the better vocalist and whos work was better in Cannibal Corpse? I have to go with Corpsegrinder. The quality and strength of his vocals is intense. Plus, he looks like he could beat Barnes to death (or anybody for that matter) if the need came along. Also, musically, Barnes era CC is all classic (Eaten Back To life, Tomb of the Mutilated, Hammer Smashed Face ep, Butchered at Birth and The Bleeding.) but other than on the bleeding, Barnes vocals are just too low and wussy. Like he couldn't handle doing it louder. After listening to the CC live album with George on it and then seeing them live with George, I feel they should re-record Barnes work with George on vocals. It would be classic stuff! Just think of Tomb of the Mutilated with Fischer! It would be intense. So I definetly pick him over Barnes. Barnes, has actually become a bit of a well known pussy stoner these last few years. However, the new Torture Killer album "Swarm" is pretty good. So, who would you guys pick?

Actually, I gotta say, Barnes is able to go a little higher than a lot of people realize. I still think Corpsegrinder owns him though.

| Lyrically, Chris Barnes is the way to go, but vocally, Corpsegrinder has it down. He has so much more passion and anger in his vocals, whereas Barnes sounded almost inanimate on most songs. And I agree with my Johnny Butt, Corpsegrinder could beat the snot out of Barnes any day.

Yeah, I wonder why George doesn't even try to write lyrics. I think he's written maybe 4-5 CC songs since 1997.
