EDIT : here is a video of one of their songs its called Killing In The Name http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P945OsHM4fw

I liked the first CD and and handful of other songs, but for the most part they aren't my thing. I never thought the guitar player, Tom Morello, was all that great although I see him listed among some of the better guitarists of all time by some. I don't see it but to each his own I suppose.

| For it to have rarely happened, it must have happened before. Sorry Adam, but I hate (c)rap metal with all my heart. Rage Against The Machine too. But I'm sure there are other things I'm into that you hate. Don't feel offended by this.

| I think the Music stylings of the band are very dynamic and they are one of the very few bands that can build up a song and drop a rhythm really well. I liked the first album . BUt as far as Tom Morello goes . The only reason So many of these guitarists are being picked as great guitarists are because the people who are selecting them are from a new generation that have never really opened their minds as to what Great guitarists are . Cause tom morello could never hang with the likes of guitar greats like yngwie, van halen or even satraini. His use of effects have been his trademark, but as any well respected guitarist will tell you Effects are the easy way out of a good solo.. I wanna Hear Tom pick up an acoustic and impress me .. But I guess the main reason RAGM is not big on my list is the POLITICS involved with the band .. That has no place in Metal.. They may as well be labeled a punk band.
