Note that if one of my posts in under 5 sentences long and not bashing something, it is probably not too serious.
Besides, I like the porn pop ups anyways if I ever go on the sites. They usually show stuff that I would have to pay to see.:) (I love how putting the smiley face can make disgusting things seem innocent and cute:))

All spyware is planted just by browsing the web. It just so happens that porn and gambling sites usually have the most. While you're surfing the site, silent downloads are taking place on your computer that you don't even know about. You're most susceptible to this when you don't use protection. :P Kind of like STDs.

To protect against this I would use some sort of Spyware removal program, which I'm sure you already do, but just in case here's what I recommend: http://lavasoft.de/. It's a free download and I usually scan with this once a week at minimum. And I would also recommend installing Norton Antivirus Protection software on your PC. The latest versions scan your PC everytime you turn it on. These things will help keep your PC clean.

If anyone is wanting a start into the tech world, I have made ISOs of the Test Out discs for CompTIA's A+ certification. Just let me know and I'll direct you to the ftp. I also have Net+, Security+, and some Cisco discs from Test Out.
