My favorite off the entire album. Can't wait to catch them in March. I am planning on stomping if they play Bewitched.

RE: How's the new Candlemass?
thorhammer (11/29/2007)
How charming that my first real post here should be disagreeing. Sorry about that, but I've gotta say I love this album. It's not in my top 10, but top 20, yes. I think "Devil Seed" is a brilliant song, and I've woken up a few days in a row now with "Demonia 6" in my head. I'm not qualified to comment on influences or riffs or anything like that - I just like what I like. But I think it's a great album, and inspired me to expand into the rest of their catalogue. I have yet to listen to my newest acquisition, "Nightfall". Penury severely limits my music exploration, sadly. That, and my obsession with tarot. Cards, that is, not the band . . . although . . .
\m/
Thor!
Well, after my first post I really started to listen to TKOTGI and it has grown on me quite a bit. I actually think it is a very strong release.
Nightfall is a great album. As is Ancient Dreams and the self-titled album. I also really dig Chapter VI even though it is one of their less doom albums.

RE: How's the new Candlemass?

How charming that my first real post here should be disagreeing. But from the couple of songs I did hear, I am very interested. Rob Lowe seems to do a great job with filling in for Messiah

How's the new Candlemass?

Just curious.
