Very true. It's just that Phil has known Jimmy longer than the Abbott brothers.

After reading the latest issue of metal hammer vinnie & phil WILL never bury the hatchet................vinnie doesnt want anything to do with him again.

Well of course Dimebag can never be truly replaced but there can always be in most cases someone that can fill in just as good but damn how crazy but interesting that would be to see Vinnie drumming with Down!

I highly doubt that would ever happen. Even if Vinny and Phil burried the hatchet. Jimmy is on of Phil's best friends.

But back to the post. I could see Zakk Wylde, but I could also see Kirk (Crowbar,Down) but the thing is Kirk isn't a very good soloist.

There would be only 1 who could replace Dimebag & that would be Zakk Wylde............but Dimebag could never be replaced.

Ok lets say Vinnie Paul and Phil somehow burried the hatchet of whatever happened in the past and decided to resurrect Pantera once more as a tribute to Dimebag and the fans, who would you think would be a good fit to fill Dimebag's shoes and kick as live just as Dimebag Darrell always did!!

In my opinion a few guitarist come to mind but I think Zakk Wylde would be the best choice not only am i pretty sure he can shred out any Pantera jam but he seems to have good chemistry to Vinnie,Rex and Phil.
