I wish I knew how to get those vocal ranges like stu Block! They're intense. They're just as intense live. I saw them once, first time I heard them. I've been hooked since. All-time favourite song: Timeless winter, who agrees?

RE: Into Eternity last night

That's badass. Glad you finally got to see them. Did not get a chance to meet them when they opened for Opeth a few years ago but on stage they seemed cool and like they were enjoying themselves.

RE: Into Eternity last night

I cannot stop thinking about this show.

Here's my new hoodie (and me in it):

RE: Into Eternity last night

Cool. It's always great to see a band you love, especially if they cancelled on you before (happened to me with Maiden like 3 years ago).

Into Eternity last night

I've been waiting nearly three years to see these dudes. I've driven out of state twice to see them, and both shows were cancelled (which I didn't discover until I got there), so imagine my surprise when I found out they were playing in my home town. In no order, here's what I remember of the setlist (there may have been more).

Surrounded by Night
Severe Emotional Distress
Absolution of the Soul
Splintered Visions
Embraced by Desolation
Spiraling Into Depression
Beginning of the End
Nothing
Timeless Winter
Pain Through Breathing

By far one of the best shows I've seen in a very long time, maybe even in my top 5 shows of all time. After the show, I got to hang out with some of the guys and they were all very, very cool dudes. My boyfriend got me a hoodie signed by everyone in the band and I bought a Timeless Winter shirt (that totally rules).

After the last time they cancelled, I sort of lost interest in the band (who had once been my favorite). It was just too depressing to listen to them and think about the times I missed them. I just popped Dead or Dreaming in last week, and I've been getting back into them ever since. They are easily one of my favorite bands and I'm ecstatic that I finally got to see them.

/fangirl rant
