Its not really metal, but more of a rock funk type of music, for the 2 or 3 people in the inter universe who have never heard of them, well anyways they released a new CD on the 9th. I picked it up on the realease day and just finished listening to both CDs, its a 2 disk album called "Stadium Arcadium" and wow, this is one of the best prodced albums I've ever heard.. (produced by rick rubin, hes a very famous producer for those who don't know) it gives a great varity of their harder stuff to really nice melodic songs. So if you ever feel you need a break from the metal scene, check this album fo' sho'

sio what do you guys and gals think of them? i listen to their new album Rosenrot and it was badass. all the songs were in German except for the song "te quiro puta" which is spanish for i want you whore. it is Rammsteins only song in spanish and its my favorite lol.

i for one love them. one of my all time favorite bands. the band im in right now, we play alot of rage against the machine songs with me on vocals. we havent decided on a name yet but we play rap metal. with rap metal if its pulled off right it can sound good.

anyways what do you people think about RATM and rap metal in general? with rap metal if its pulled off right it can sound good.

Polkadot Cadaver is a band formed by members of the metal band Dog Fashion Disco. The band is musically similar to Dog Fashion Disco and has already inherited many of their fans. Much of the artwork used by Polkadot Cadaver was produced by fans of Dog Fashion Disco. Their debut album, [b]Purgatory Dance Party[/b], was released via internet pre-sales on November 17, 2007, with a street date of November 27, 2007. March 2008 saw the release of the band's first two videos, "[i]Chloroform Girl[/i]" and "[i]Pure Bedlam for Halfbreeds[/i]", which are available on the band's official [url=http://www.myspace.com/polkadotcadaver]MySpace page[/url]. Both videos were directed by Art Barn's Dan Edwards. A video has also been produced for "Bring Me the Head of Andy Warhol", which is available on YouTube. Angel Down is probably the best rock/metal record I have heard in years!!!!!!!! Holy crap, it's that good!!!!!

OK, most folks here would not consider Motley Crue metal, and I would have to agree. And I am not really looking for opinions on the Crue, but has anyone heard Nikki Sixx's band Sixx AM? Good rock n roll band, much better than, say, Velvet Revolver. I heard the song Life is Beautiful on my digital cable hard rock music station and I was actually impressed.

OK, so they really should not be classified as metal, but Eddie and Alex are pioneers on their respective instruments and their contributions cannot be denied. Chances are many of the bands we listen to (well, except maybe extreme metal bands) have been influence at least a little bit by this band. So, then, the question is, which album is your favorite and why?

I chose 5150. The title track is my favorite VH tune. The drumming is phenomenal, and I love EVH's guitar work. Killer song, as is Best of Both Worlds and Summer Nights. Hell, all of 'em are good. 1984 was a close second. Hard to argue with Panama, Drop Dead Legs and I'll Wait.

The other Roth-era albums are excellent, but I think since I started listening to VH with the 1984 album the older ones don't resonate as much with me, although there are some killer tracks on all of them. My favorites include Little Guitars, Mean Streets, Take Your Whiskey Home, and And the Cradle will Rock. As far as the Hagar era, I also like these albums, but as the band got older the music got less and less original, although each album has some seriously good songs. But in the end I tend to go for 5150 more often then all the others.

So who else wants to take a stab at this one?

So I was listening to Pandora.com and a song by this band came on called Bury Me. I was intrigued. It rocked. It rolled. It was damn catchy. It was off a battle of the bands CD from Ernie Ball. I looked them up on the web and found a few pages about them, including their Myspace page, which I cannot get to at work. Anyway, a few sites had samples posted and I really like what I hear. There influences are mostly hardcore bands, I guess, with Pantera thrown in for good measure. Yet they have a pretty unique approach, I think, and they don't sound like they play just one style.

I just read this on blabbermouth; the album will be released in early spring of 2007. Michael Matijevic is one of the greatest vocalist ever. We haven't heard anything from him since the early 90s excluding the vocals on 'Rock Star' and Steel Dragon RULED! I wish they were a real band. I hope everyone else is as excited as I.
