I saw Behemoth last night and loved the show. They performed at full force, although I wonder if they used to some back-tracks during their performance. It sounded like parts of some songs had pre-recorded vocals; however, the rest of the performance sounded natural. The band sucked the audience into the performance and di not let go. Towards the end, Nergal took a sip of prop blood from a green-tinted cup and proceeded to spit it out all over the audience.
Nergal was very gracious with fans and gladly took pictures, signed autographs, and put up with other weirdness. He speaks wonderful English! I definitely recommend seeing Behemoth on this tour if you're willing to tolerate Job for a Cowboy fans.

I prefer Immortal over Behemoth, the problem I have with Behemoth is that their albums to me seem to be a little overproduced.

I have 2 Behemoth albums, Demigod and Satanica, and both are extremely brutal, but good. I haven't listened to either as closely as I should, but both have songs that have very similar structures. As far as I can tell right now, at least.
Others more familiar can give a better explanation, though.

I haven't heard behemoth, but have recently purchased the remaining immortal albums after having owned pure holocaust for 5 years and sons of northern darkness for a month, and i think all albums are great. I had waited so long to purchase more immortal albums because pure holocaust has for a long time been my all time favourite album and I was afraid I'd find out that immortal really wasn't immortal after all. But they are!

Nergal, is one of the most intense people i've ever gotten the chance to meet. A truly good live act. I am hoping for nothing less than greatness on their new album.

Both bands are amazing.

I enjoy Behemoth's early Black Metal works to an extent, but overall i prefer the newer Death Metal stuff.

Immortal are just fucking great. There isnt one album by them i dont enjoy.

Ha! No, not scared - just wasn't sure I would enjoy the vocals and image of the band. I used to hate death metal and black metal vocals (still not too sure about black metal). I always felt more comfortable with bands wearing jeans and a t-shirt for a gig, not corpse paint, 10" spikes on an armband and leather trench coats. Now I don't really care what the image is.

Tested out some Behemoth yesterday (Satanica and a little Demigod). Holy crap, these guys are intense. Sounds great, though.

Yep, I will be getting the [b]I[/b] album. Only heard 2 tracks so far, kinda reminded me of [b]MOTÖRHEAD[/b].

Very few bands were able to mix such harsh/fast music with beautiful and epic melodies/arrangements like Immortal did ever since they debuted.

I seems very promising. Kind of like Bathory meets later Immortal.

[b]IMMORTAL[/b] are the greatest ever Scandinavian Metal band IMHO. I like pretty much all their stuff, and I've seen them live at least 7 or 8 times. Cool Dudes too....

Oh my gawd, both of these bands are AMAZING. Black metal would not be what it is today without these two bands, and that's a godammed fact! Behemoth's "Satanica" is actually one of the greatest black metal albums I've ever heard, and all of Immortal's albums are classics as well. Hell, I wouldn't be sane without either.

I think Tom is real. Or atleast I hope. If he wasn't, I don't know what i'd do with myself. Actually, I saw this funny short film about Myspace. It was well done and the director ended up getting a contract with some big name company because of it.

They actually used to be friends. They even guested on each other's albums. But ever since Behemoth became friendly with Salem, started touring Israel and is anti-racism, Darken hates Nergal.

Rob Darken hates Nergal? Hmmmm, I had no idea. Ijust can't stand Graveland that much. Maybe an album here or there but nothing more. He trys too much for the whole grim thing, yet comes off as a homoerotic pirate/viking.

Immortal is Immortal. enough said. "At the Heart of Winter" is one of my favorite albums of all time.

Behemoth, is an amazing band. Nergal has been the backbone of that band. One of the few bands to release great BM albums and DM albums. I was into their Death Metal albums first, then I bought their boxset, which came with their 4 Black Metal albums and a live album. Their old albums are quite impressive.

I love both eras of Behemoth. Their pagan metal stuff was amazing, but their death metal is some of the best I've ever heard.

Immortal is also one of the best. At The Heart Of Winter is a masterpiece, but all their stuff is amazing.

I really like both bands. I have heard more of Behemoth's music than Immortal's but both bands are killer. I like Behemoth's new Blackened Death Metal stuff ([b]Demigod[/b]) than their older Black Metal stuff ([b]Storming Near The Baltic[/b]).
