Haven't heard it yet, but I have heard Canadian Metal.

I really dig the references to Sacrifice, Slaughter, Piledriver, Razor, and some other bands that I cannot recall at the moment (I'm not listening to it right now)

On their upcoming album, they have a song dedicated to Canadian thrash bands. They had some songtitles from Sacrifice, and some other bands, in the lyrics.

Yes it has a lot of punk in it. But alot of Black Metal comes from bands that where into punk beleave it are not. And i love that album it kicks ass.

Goatlord is great. The only Darkthrone album I don't think is so great is Soulside Journey. It just sounds like a crappy attempt at progressive death metal. I like the album, but I just think that it was pretty immature. I think they would be able to do a much better one now if they wanted to since they are better musicians and songwriters now than they used to be.

WHat do you think of Goatlord? Cause that to me, is one hell of an album. Up there with the king of Darkthrone "Transilvanian Hunger"

This was the first album in which Fenriz didn't hump and praise bathory's "The Return" prior to release, I knew we were all in trouble.

I heard two seconds of this album and I already knew from then on that it was a disgrace to the name "Darkthrone." It's terrible.

Panzerfaust is in my top three of Darkthrone along with Transilvanian Hunger and Goatlord.

All of Darkthrone's albums kick ass! But The Cult Is Alive and Trannsylvaniun Hunger are still my faves.

Really? I just can't get into it that much. Transilvanian Hunger and Goatlord are my two favorite Darkthrone albums.

Honestly, I love the album. I don't mind the good punk like DRI or Discharge. This isn't like the shit from Sex Pistols or Billy Idol. I've had the album since before it came out and I think it's safe to say that I like it as much as Transylvanian Hunger.

The new Darkthrone....o boy. Can you say dissapointment? I just can't get into it. What is up with Fenriz's punk clean vocals on "graveyard Slut" what is up with the name graveyard slut anyway? I know over the years they have had a little punk influence but nothing huge. This is just too much for me though. What do you guys think about it?
