| ok so this forum is called living for metal...what are your fav Metal bands... lets say your top 10.... here's mine.... of Course in no order... 1.Witches/Frost (solo stuff) 2. EdGuy 3. Rhapsody 4. Helloween 5. Savatage/JOP 6. Gamma Ray 7.Sinergy 8. Iron Maiden 9. Judas Priest 10. Kamelot now someone elses turn.....

Wow.. this is almost going to be impossible... but here goes :

| Just 10 bands, this is going to be hard! Seven Witches- especially with Bobby Lucas Overlorde- One of Bobby's other bands, totally awesome! Sadistic Intent- awesome death/black metal! Fates Warning- especially the John Arch era stuff Bathory- RIP Quorthorn  Manilla Road- I can't get enough of these guys Exciter- all is good but the stuff with Dan Beehler is the best! Overkill- IMO the hardest working, most under appreciated band! Dragonforce- Blindingly fast yet extremely melodic! Lost Horizon- Awesome singer. Great concept and lyrics! Avantasia- Not only does this rule!! From a vocal stand point this is one of the best albums ever! I know that I picked eleven but I had to include Avantasia! Sorry!

Damn like everyone else just 10?!?! heh I don't usually pick favorites but I will list ten bands I have been into recently.
01. Death - Just love 'em. I only need Scream Bloody Gore and Leprosy and I have all their studio releases.
02. Destructor - Cleveland's 80's power metal maniacs. I've meet the band a few times, great guys. Maximum Destruction and Sonic Bullet rule. I can't wait for their two new albums coming out this year.
03. Deceased - King Fowley rules and so does Deceased!
04. Vio-lence - Love 'em or hate 'em. I love 'em. Now that the re-release of Eternal Nightmare is out I only need to find Nothing To Gain!
05. Hirax - What can I say awesome thrash metal. This band is very underrated. The New Age of Terror imo is one of the best albums of '04
06. Pentagram - On my quest for new doom metal I found these guys. I've been meaning to get some Count Raven but I can't get past these guys yet.
07. Agent Steel - Damn, speed metal at its finest.
08. Twisted Tower Dire - Kicking the jams traditionally and not making them sound old or outdated.
09. Exciter - I need more Exciter cause they rule, though I found Violence and Force on vinyl yesterday for fifty cents. TAKEN BY!
10. Coroner - I love the blend of technical shit with the thrash. I listen to Mental Vortex at least twice a week.

| Geez.. I dunno... I'm pretty new to the 'metal' side of rock... But here are some of the ones I've discovered & enjoy ~ Crimson Glory Seven Witches (goes without saying and I like almost anything Jack's had his hands in ~ TOTALLY into Bronx Casket Co.) Hammerfall - the new one is freakin brillian Iced Earth - with Ripper Glorious Burden is a masterpiece Edguy - going to see them with Hammerfall Monday!! Lost Horizon... I also listen to everything from Unruly Child to XYZ to Billy Joel to Vivaldi when the moment strikes me... Almost anything... but I have my limits... Above all I'm a rocker
