I do like Iced Earth quite a bit... I prefer the early material with Matt Barlow on vocals.  In my opinion he was a very underated vocalist with great passion and feeling in his voice.  The Tim Owens album isn't bad... the Gettysburg Trilogy is pretty sweet..

ya the earlier stuff is great. i have all their cds. but glorious burden sounded all patriotic and im not very patriotic.... but not bad. tim owens voice is good but the song writing wasnt that great in my opinion. but i want to hear a live iced earth cd with the new singer.

"Burnt Offerings" & "Dark Saga" are probably my favorites... although "Night of the Stormrider" is good as well.

YEP... Burnt offerings was killer.

Dantes inferno is just a great jam.

I like all their stuff but the self titled and Glorious Burden are my favorites. Gene Adams is a really underrated vocalist. His voice was really thrashy and his falsetto was pretty good.

What you used to love now, you're gonna adore. With Charmin Ultra, less is more. Cha Cha Cha, Charmin.
