| So, If we are gonna talk about Finntroll.... what forum should it be in? Black Metal -or- Folk Metal I've just gotten some of their material.. So, I'm a Finntroll newbie... Looking for those that are wiser than me... Wondering what their thoughts are in regard to Finntroll...

I think they are folk metal. But folk metal and pagan metal are usually black metal subgenres.

I haven't listened to them much (which I'm now changing) but I haven't heard a song in English yet... So, I'm doubting there are any.

Most folk metal is sung in their own language. I think it really adds a lot to the music. If you've ever listened to Moonsorrow, another Finnish band that kicks ass, then you'll hear what I mean.
