| Honestly, aside from a few decent songs on Divine Intervention, I think everything Slayer has released after Seasons in the Abyss has been crap. Diablous and God Hates are horrible IMO. And I really couldn't get into Christ Illusion. Anyone agree/disagree?

Christ Illusions wasn't terrible. But other than that, post-Seasons albums aren't even good enough to be used as a coaster

Jeremy (1/2/2008) Christ Illusions wasn't terrible. But other than that, post-Seasons albums aren't even good enough to be used as a coasterOuch! I'd save Divine Intervention from coaster status, but not the rest. Christ Illusion was far superior than the last two, but still not all that good.

Yup, what he said. Anything up to and including Seasons is a must for any metalhead's music library.

I actually couldn't agree with you more. Early Slayer is essential for anyone new to thrash but newer Slayer can give people the wrong opinion.

Slayer is one of the most overrated bands existing today. While I loved everything until Seasons, everything after is complete crap.
I did like a few songs from Diabolus and Christ Illusion, though.
