Revisited Demolition today and I have to say it's far from their best but not that bad. Ripper did a good job and some of the riffs are pretty cool. But there are some serious stinkers on there.
Oh well. I'd give it 6/10 now for Feed One Me, Hell is Here, Machine Man, One on One and Bloodsuckers.

I honestly have never heard of the Ripper era Priest.
Does that make me a bad metahead?
As long as I got Rock n Roll I'm forever young

Metal Messiah and Machine Man are alright, and there are some cool riffs here and there, but I thought the album sucked really badly overall. Ripper did a great job though Jugulator was decent, with Cathedral Spires being one of my favorite, if not my favorite Priest song.

Jugulator is a masterpiece when compared to Demolition. I think the problem is Priest tried to go a bit too modern instead of keeping the Painkiller style. I remember reading that Priest was really influenced by Machine Head during the Ripper years.
Demolition is good for Ripper but really didn't do much for the rest of the band.

I have been wanting to hear Priest with Ripper on vocals for years but for some reason in Australia there cd's are twice as much as the ones with Rob on vocal so they are a bit too expensive.

Well, in that case I'd just search out some sound samples. Ripper-era stuff is cool, but not nearly as good.
