I will reach the ripe old age of 24 in about 8 days.
2. Where do you live?
St. Paul, Minnesota
3. What got you into Metal?
A friend's older brother gave me Metallica's Master of Puppets. However, Pantera was the band pushed me over the top and made it a full out obsession.
4. Your first metal album?
Metallica's Master of puppets
5. Genres I prefer?
Anything and everything, with the exception of traditional black metal. It's all just bees in a jar, IMO.
6. Bands I prefer?
Really depends on the genre. Among my all-time favorites, though, are Death, Isis, Arcturus, Virgin Black, Therion, Primordial, Moonsorrow, Zero Hour, and some other prog and power metal stuff... (don't worry, don't worry I'm not another Opeth fanatic)
7. Things I love?
Good friends, good food, and good times!
8. Things I hate?
People who must be "kvit" all the time, people who talk shit on forums (don't bring that my way), people who are close minded, stubbed toes, and other stuff...
9. Favorite concert you've attended?
Gwar may not have great music, but that live show is un-FUCKABLE with!
10. Your Non-Metal interests?
Sports, movies, reading (mainly fiction), hanging with friends and family, and other stuff...

No worries, most of you guys are alright in my book. However, try to keep the Opeth posts to a minimum in any thread titled along the lines of "Best..." or "Favorite..." or "Most..." If you can do that, we will get along perfectly!

| I'm an Opeth fan-boy too, but I've met way more annoying Opeth-worshipers than myself. I enjoyed the "bees in a jar" quote. I haven't heard that one before. EDIT: I still need to see GWAR live. I've had a couple chances, and ended up not going.

Any show that combines good music with decapitating the president, disemboweling Paris Hilton, spouting blood and various other bodily fluids out onto the audience, etc. is well worth the price of admission! Moreover, Gwar's last three releases have been really good and have seen the band getting back on track, in my opinion. Check it out!
