From Hypocrisy's website: As you've probably heard, we´re remixing and redoing the vocals on Catch 22 and rereleasing it. Why?! Becouse we still think it is a great fucking album but it got slammed and misunderstood becouse of the vocal style and the drumsound and so on.I've got mixed feelings about this. While Catch 22 isn't my favorite Hypocrisy album, it's far from terrible and it adds another dimension to their discography. It's definitely different than their other stuff. It was the only album they did with anywhere near that much clean vocals, and I think that basically says enough. They got the hint that most fans want heavier albums. Virus (which came after Catch 22) is one of their best and most devastating, so it's not like Catch 22 was a career killer. I don't think that they need to go so far as to re-release it just because it was "slammed and misunderstood." Personally, I'd rather they took the time to re-record their first couple of albums with better production. Then again, I will have to hear what changes are made before I fully make up my mind.

| Silly move. I would rather have a new Hypocrisy album. Catch 22 is fine as it is.

I listened to Catch 22 and it is a pretty good album. I would just prefer they remaster the older albums and come out with a new one.

| Yeah, I've been listening to it again after reading about the remastering and there really aren't even as many clean vocals as I remember there being. One slower song that's done in all clean vocals, "All Turns Black" is one of my favorite Hypocrisy songs, actually. Some other forums and reviews I read about it say that they sold out and decided to sound like Slipknot, but I don't really get where that is coming from. Oh well. I don't think we can talk them out of it on our little forum, so it will be interesting to see what they do to change it.

The drums will be beefed up, the guitars more grindng and the vocals more gruff.
