voodoo (2/13/2008)
I was shocked when Mrs. voodoo suggested looking into getting the HDTV but I am NOT complaining.
By the way, I am "one of those fuckers". I work for the treasury but not the IRS.
get a 70inch hd tv, a blue-ray disc player, then hook up surround sound.
go to hell

| I read an article yesterday about how a bunch of stores like Wal-Mart and Target are not going to carry HD DVD and that Toshiba is on the brink of just dropping HD DVD altogether, basically meaning that Blu-Ray has won the "HD format war." So I'm thinking about getting either a PS3 (which does blu-ray) or a regular blu-ray player with my tax monies. I might wait until summer to see if the prices drop once more people switch over. I'm just glad to finally have an idea of which format is going to be the "future". Now if only we could predict how long before red-ray or something else takes over blu-ray. That's the thing about modern technology. If you really wanted to be patient for "the next big thing" you'd never end up buying any of it because the next "next big thing" is never far behind. My HDTV has a "3D" input and I have no idea what that's for. Supposedly that's something in development for the future. *fingers crossed for 3D porn*

Yep, HD DVD is pretty much dead in the water.
As long as I got Rock n Roll I'm forever young
