| As "The Iron Maiden" was asking i thought i would post a new topic.....What is the worst concer u went to in 2007. I went & saw Celtic Frost & although they were awesome the support acts Chaotic Impunity & Pod People were pretty awful to sit through & watch.

Only went to 4 concerts this year and none of them sucked. The worst band to play at any of them was Prong opening for Overkill. Never was a fan of that band their live show didn't help.
As long as I got Rock n Roll I'm forever young

Wow, thanks for starting the thread
I didn't go to any terrible shows this year, but of the worst were: some noise/fuzz band in the basement of a house where Christ Hate (who were necro & grim as hell) played; Katatonia (because I don't remember most of it & vomited everywhere, and I was really looking forward to that show); Phantasm Fest in KC (because it was long, hot, sticky & very loud); Beneath the Massacre (I can't stand them), and I think that covers it.
So, all in all, I guess I'm just a whiner. But when you go to a lot of shows, you get tired of putting up with crap that would prevent you from having a good time. Ya know?

Phantasm Fest was an oven inside, and be glad that you didn't have to sit through the first two bands on the first day.
Insanity takes its toll, so please, have exact change.

| I'll stick to bands you've probably heard of before, but I will mention that I did see some pretty lame local bands filling out the bill for decent bands. Despised Icon, Beneath the Massacre (as Jodi mentioned), and Ion Dissonance weren't too good. I think 36 Crazyfists was probably the worst of '07 for me. I don't know why they get on so many metal tours. P.S. I will dedicate this post to good bands (the ones that I can remember, at least) that didn't show up for their shows in '07 (3 Inches of Blood (once in '07 and once already in '08), Scar Symmetry, and Cephalic Carnage).
