That's tough for me to say.  Since most of the albums I listen to evoke feelings from me in one way or another anyway, I guess it really just depends.  If I'm depressed or just feeling down, I'll probably listen to Still Life or My Arms, Your Hearse by Opeth, or maybe Pain of Salvation's Remedy Lane.  Possibly even some Blue Oyster Cult.  If I'm angry, on the other hand, I might listen to something like Vital Remains or Decapitated.  But for the most part, I can listen to just about any of my albums no matter what mood I'm in.  As long as I'm listening to something, I'm alright.

I know I'm gonna cop shit for this, but when I feel totally like I want to stop breathing, I chuck on Dragonforce's "Valley of the Damned". I dunno, it makes me smile. Grin, even. (How un-metal is that?) It makes me feel like I'm 10 foot tall and bulletproof. And damn good-lookin, too, for some strange reason . . . *shrugs*

Dragonforce is a bit over the top for me, but whatever floats your boat.  I listen to some music that might make others here shudder but that doesn't bother me.

I think I have Cast Away. I will take another listen to it.

For me...

A Flame to the Ground Beneath - Lost Horizon

There is a reason why it is my favorite album of all time. No album displays inner strength better.

I should take another listen to that album, if I can ever find time for it, given my ever-growing CD collection.

Insanity takes its toll, so please, have exact change.
