| I see the term stoner metal thrown around for a ton of bands that play music that has nothing at all to do with weed. Most of the time it sounds a lot like what's also classified as sludge metal. What's the difference? Espcially if the band has nothing to do with pot.

| Hmmm, in my inexpert, subjective opinion as a sludge and stoner fan, I'd say the crux of it comes down to rhythm. If it has rhythm, it's stoner. If not, or if the beats are, like, less than one per second, then it's sludge. Okay, now comes the argument. \m/ Hammer
