Despite my comments above, i really have no diea what happened. If someone could fill me in on the story that would be awesome.

From what i am understanding, sharon dissed maiden on stage, and the people rioted, and maiden then played on? is this what happened?

Sorry to hear that..Here's my list of Maiden gigs..I remember each one..the Brave world tour one at Madison Sq, Garden..gets a little fuzzy halfway through..lol..Had alot to drink before and during show..so glad they sold Beer at the show..and Mixed drinks..I think I was drinking Barcardi n cokes..lol..yummy..But they sneak up on you and fuck you up..

OK:

1.Iron Maiden..1984..World Piece tour at Nassau Collesiom in Long Island, NY ..My first real Metal gig..Fastway opened..I actually liked their 1st cd..

2. Iron Maiden..same tour..about 4 months later..selling out Madison Square Garden. w/ Quiet Riot opening...Which is when everyone liked them, before the DuBrow backlash..I loved Metal Health..still do 

Quiet Riot had everyone on their feet the whole show..The best opening band Ive seen to date..

3. Maiden --world slavery tour..85 I think..At Radio City Music Hall..they  booked I think 7 nights..and played 5..or something like that...I saw the2nd show I think..Great show..Maiden owned Metal then..check out the live dvd/video..Live aFTER dEATH...FROM lONG bEACH aREANA..Scream for me Long Beach....SCREAM FOR ME, LONG BEACH!

and I might have saw them on the Somewhere in Time tour..I think..it gets a little fuzzy my memory..for some reason I remember they opened with .."Caught somewhere In Time"..or maybe it was just a dream...???

than Summer-Brave World Tour..at the Garden...Maiden sells out <SG in record time...and are BACK!..Bruce is back with the boys..and a great show...Halford opened...than Queensryche..3 of Metal's all time Greats..

That's my list....I also saw Queen in July 1882..at MSG..the last tour that they played in the USA (Hot Space tour),,They never came back to USA again-Before Freddy died..That was my first concert ever....It's hard to remember it,with all the lights, and loud music..being it was my first, and I was so young.(4 years old)

I do remember Freddie Mercury..said: "I love New York City..It's so fuckin tacky"  Gotta love em... That guy Lived Life..in excess..and threw one mean party from what I've read..lol..And his voice remained great till his last recordings..amazingly, gifted singer...

I went to this show with my Cousins when they came thru SA it was in 85' I was in middle school.THIS was an awesome show. With Twisted Sister opening .. That was wild.

I also saw them on the somewhere in time and on their last tour . Maiden still kicks ass!!!!!

next time they come thru Bare u gotta see em !!!!!!!! Hell I'll BUY your tix !!!!!
