| You can get a pretty decent bottle of single malt scotch whiskey, like Glenlivet, for like 40 bucks or so. That's not really expensive at all. Although it's not a single malt, sometime, you should try a bottle of Johnnie Walker blue label. It's a little expensive, but it's really amazing. Aside from how smooth it is, there are so many different notes and aromas, so it's somewhat adventurous.

A bottle of scotch would last longer than the beer I buy but it's hard to justify spending $40 in one shot. I usually don't spend more than $20 on beer every few months. But when the funds are available I will take your advice. Thanks.

| I doubt you're going to drink the whole bottle at once, unless you're like me or something. A 40 dollar bottle will last you for a little while, if you just have a glass a few times a week. Plus, you want to try it. You'll probably spend 40 bucks on some other thing(s) anyway. You definitely can't off a bottle of blue label at once though, since that bottle can range from 150-300 per bottle (depending on where you buy it), and it would be a terrible waste, since you'd miss out on the whole experience. It's usually closer to the 200 mark. But it's really amazing, so it's worth a try. You should save up for it sometime, if you start to really enjoy scotch. You and your wife could share a drink together. Scotch can be very sensual

blue label is definitely worth it. i usually just get red label though as its a more reasonable price range.

Yeah. I mean, you could also get a glass of it in a nice restaurant or bar, for like 40 bucks (which is the way I've had it, the last few times). But it's really nice to just sit at home, relax, and take your time to really enjoy it
