| Okay, I have a few CDs that are really out of place. Mainly, crazily out of place. I have about 45 rap CDs. From Run DMC to Master P. 1. How did you come by acquiring these CDs? Over the last 10 years. I started listening to rap when I was 11. Ice-T was a major impact on my life. 2. Is it something you used to listen to often, or still do? Yes. I usually listen to my Ice-T, Ice Cube, Public Enemy, Too $hort, Spice 1, NWA, MC Eiht CDs at least once every 2 weeks. 3. What about it did you like that led you to acquire it, or keep it? I got most of my rap CDs when I was in Columbia House. I love 'em so I keep 'em. But why I love them varies. Some are great feats of beats, others amazing tales and fabrications of urban life. Others remind me of home, like Insane Clown Posse and Esham. Others remind me of those silly rap fads when I was in High School, like Master P. And then there are folks like Paris, who have strong political statements. Rap for me is a guilty pleasure that sometimes is a source of humor and inspiration
